Learning, Training & Competency Survey

Learning, Training & Competency Survey image

On behalf of the industries Skills Impact provides services to, they are conducting research to help provide support to the IRCs with which they work. Some of the challenges and opportunities for improvements to the VET sector that have been flagged by IRCs, industry stakeholders, RTOs and trainers will be investigated.

Skills Impact has the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of requests for ideas for VET sector improvements and will use respondent views to inform its submissions and presentation on VET sector reforms.  The survey takes less than ten minutes to complete and is being administered by Griffith University.

This survey is to get views on key aspects of learning, training and competency in Australian VET. At a time when there is great interest in reforming VET, it is important to ensure the best possible understanding of these key aspects of the system. Stakeholder experience is a valuable source of information that should be captured and reported.

Raising questions that are not currently ‘on the radar’ of VET policy makers, stakeholder survey responses will help to determine whether these questions are important to pursue, and should be on the table at this time.  If these questions are important, responses will be used to fine-tune the case for reformers to take them into account.
